I recently was a part of a discussion on Facebook on the question “at what age should players be allowed to play freely instead of being held back by a coaches system?”

And honestly, I think the question itself is flawed.

It assumes that freedom and structure are opposites.

They’re not.

The best development environments build freedom within structure.

That’s the philosophy we use in 3on3 Hoops.
